December 4, 2025

Raritan Bay - Richmond, NY Fishing Report on 4th Dec, 2025 - 2

The striped bass fishing continues to be about as good as it gets. We had 2 great morning feeds this past Saturday and Sunday with it being a slower pick throughout the late morning and early afternoon. As the water temps continue to drop we should start to see more keeper size fish in our local waters. I have 2 spots available for an open boat trip this Saturday 11/11 and I have full boat availability for this Sunday 11/12. Price is $180 pp for open boat and $500 for the full boat 3 anglers max. Contact Capt Ryan at 609-276-8032 to book your spots.

Prime Time for Spring Striper Action in Lacey Township fishing report coverpicture

May 13, 2025

Raritan Bay - Richmond, NY Fishing Report on 13th May, 2025

Striped bass season is heating up along the waters of Lacey Township, NJ. Anglers are reporting strong action throughout Barnegat Bay and near the mouth of the Forked River, with stripers feeding actively in the early morning and late afternoon hours. Live bait such as bunker and bloodworms have been producing consistent results, especially during incoming tides. Trolling stretch plugs and casting soft plastics around structure have also been effective. Most fish are in the 24- to 32-inch range, with a few larger bass pushing 40 inches being landed on live-lined bunker. Warmer water temps and active bait schools are keeping the action steady. As we head deeper into the spring run, now is the time to gear up and hit the water. Whether you're casting from a boat or the shoreline, striped bass are here and hungry in Lacey Township.
